Classic Who

almondina:

I’m ready to finally start to tackle Classic Doctor Who.

Does anyone have any starting place recommendations? Or should I just literally start from the beginning?

LIke the others have suggested, either right at the beginning can be cool (if a very long haul), while starting with Four is always a good choice, too (I personally started Classic Who with “The Ribos Operation,” which starts its own little self-contained arc).

You could also start with “The Time Warrior,” which is one of the Three’s later episodes - it introduces Sarah Jane Smith, who is probably the most popular companion of all time and continues to be companion to Four. (It also introduces the Sontarans and Gallifrey, and is generally a really fun episode with a great pair of villains.)
